· Features: This double shop-house hostel is set over 4 floors, a mezzanine and rooftop. It is located close to Maha Uma Devi Temple, Silom Village and a local fresh market. Surawong Road and a riverside pier are only a short walk away. The hostel began operations in July 2015, but the owner now finds that she does not have enough time to devote to it. The lobby on the ground level is quite large and could potentially make for a great little cafe or the like serving both the in-house guests and also the passing trade of nearby office workers. Also on the ground level are the reception counter, a common area for guests to watch TV, a kitchen (with fridge, toaster oven, boiler and the like), a coin-operated guests’ washing machine, a bathroom and an outdoor seating area. TV in the common area is connected to Net Flix at a cost of THB 600 per month. The 10 guest rooms upstairs are all configured differently and cater for all sorts of accommodation requirements. The mezzanine deck is a chill out area with a bathroom. There are 2 double rooms and 2 x 2 Bunk Beds Rooms on the 3rd level. The 4th floor has a 2 x 6 people dormitory room and 2 family rooms (1 double bed and 2 bunk beds). The 5th floor has a room with 6 bunk beds and another room with 2 bunk beds and 2 single beds. The 6th level is the rooftop. Occupancy varies according to the season and is typically 40% from May to July and October, 60% - 70% for February, March and April, and 80% - 100% for August, September, November, December, and January. Staff include 1 maid and 2 receptionists (day reception from 0700 – 1500 and night reception from 1500 - 2300). The owner is willing to help with transitioning the business for up to 2 months as and if required.
